Recruitment Specialist

Bart's primary duties include updating clinical and non-clinical job listings for member community health centers as well as recruitment efforts. He also oversees the South Dakota SEARCH Program, a National Health Service Corps program which places health professional students into medically underserved areas for short term placements.

SEARCH takes a proactive approach to long-term recruitment by working as a liaison between academic institutions, students, communities, and other programs.

He joined the staff in January 2000. His background includes positions as health program specialist with the Office of Rural Health, South Dakota Department of Health and investigator for the Division of Consumer Protection with the Office of Attorney General.
