North Dakota Clinic Plans Big Expansion...and is Hiring
FARGO, ND - Fargo's community health center is preparing to expand. By the summer of 2011, the will have a new facility that is double the size of the current building and managers will be hanging out the "help wanted" sign.
Patricia Patron, the Center's executive director, says such an expansion will require a bigger staff.
"Our hope is to go from serving 12,000 to 17,000, and also it's very significant that we are also looking to hiring around 18 full-time employees."
The new staff will include doctors and support personnel, says Patron.
"We are looking at three medical providers, one dental provider and then all the support staff that is needed to operate a clinic of that size."
The number of exam rooms will grow from 11 to 30 and the facility will also house the pharmacy and wellness center. Construction will start in the spring, and completion is expected by the summer of 201l.
