I am pleased to announce the first of a series of monthly trainings scheduled for the next 5 months.  These trainings are designed  in response to training needs expressed by various CHC staffs and will utilize components of the OC3 manuals. These first five trainings will be conducted via video conference.  We hope to develop future trainings via webinars as well.

We would like to encourage you and staff responsible in these areas to attend all or a portion of the training.  There is no fee.  We would ask that you have your OC3 manuals handy as a point of reference.  You are also encouraged to bring your lunch if that works for you and your staff.

In order for us to make adequate preparations for the video conference connections, please e-mail Melissa Craig (melissa@communityhealthcare.net ) by July 18 with the names, which sections attending,  and the clinic sites of those from your organizations who plan to attend.

This particular training is also being used as a research project for us and our Return On Investment consultant to develop practical means to evaluate all of our training efforts in the future. In order for us to continue to serve you in a meaningful way, we will be conducting a follow up evaluation of this session.

In order for the research project to be a success, we invite you and any staff planning to attend the training on July 24 to join us on a video conference meeting with our consultant, Holly Burkett on Wednesday, July 16 from 10:00 AM-11:30 AM CDT to present the project and to conduct a pre-training survey.  Please notify me via e-mail as to who  will be attending this special session and the site from which they will attend.

We will be sending reminders closer to the training date.  Also watch for the schedule of upcoming video training sessions in August, September, October, and November.   The dates and topics will be sent to you and posted on the website soon.

Thank you,
Karen Larson, Deputy Director
