In response to the increasing number of uninsured Americans, President Bush and Congress have committed to supporting community health centers.

The President’s Health Center Initiative has resulted in an increased number of community heatlh centers to provide health care for North and South Dakotans.

CHAD plays a role in this effort by assisting communities in determining and finding resources availabe to meet their health care needs.
