CHAD works to promote the benefits of community health centers (CHCs) and the issues related to improving health care access and care in the Dakotas. Tracking health-related legislation and providing information and testimony to North and South Dakota legislators is part of CHAD’s policy efforts.
Hearing from local citizens and patients of a CHC is the best way for legislators and Congressional Delegates to understand the true value and benefits of the health center program. Contact Director of Policy and Community Planning Larry A. Shireley, MS, MPH at (701) 751-0619 for more information.
