The Data Services Specialist enhances CHAD's ability to support membership and potential members serving or proposing to serve low-income, geographically isolated, minority, homeless, and migrant populations in North and South Dakota on matters related to data management. These areas include:

  • Uniform Data System (UDS)
  • Needs Assessments
  • Data Warehouse
  • Health Disparities
  • Budget Period Renewal (BPR)
  • Service Area Competition (SAC)
  • Designations
    • Medically Underserved Area (MUA)
    • Medically Underserved Populations (MUP)
    • Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA)

The Data Services Specialist is instrumental in developing and leading the Region VIII Data Team.
