CHAD provides support and resources to new communities for Starting the Process to develop a community health center (CHC) and existing health centers wishing to expand services.

The Director of Policy and Community Planning provides support and technical assistance for community engagement, assessment, and development activities for Becoming a CHC.

The US Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC) reviews and awards grants funds to eligible applicants who demonstrate the ability to meet the 19 program requirements.
